Model-Based Systems Engineering and Consulting
We deliver requirements elicitation and systems engineering services through direct participation in our customers' complex technology development projects, including defense-related technology developments.
Tailored consultancy packages
Modelling the system, in CORE or GENESYS or your tool of choice, allows one to expose the complexity of engineering the system and a means to manage it in the face of constant change.
We work with your team to develop a System Model. Depending on the need - the outputs of the model generally include the generation of concept descriptions, system specifications, development specifications and test and evaluation master plan, and includes design configuration and traceability to support the project’s verification and validation activities.
Meta-model management
We can assist your team with the management of your system’s meta-model.
Proper meta-model management limits the duplication of effort and wasted time by ensuring that information gets captured and managed correctly. As MBSE specialists we can assist your team to maintain model completeness and consistency, we can determine whether the requirements in the system model are addressed by the design and if the design traces back to requirements and flag when verification requirements do not have adequate detail.
Digital transformation
We can support your organisation on your digital transformation journey.
What is Model-Based Systems Engineering?
Model-based systems engineering is systems engineering based on a relational database that offers different views of the system depending on the concern of the viewing team.
INCOSE defines model-based systems engineering as the formalized application of modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities beginning in the conceptual design phase and continuing throughout development and later life cycle phases
(INCOSE Systems Engineering Vision 2020, INCOSE-TP-2004-004-02, Version 2.03, September 2007).
